Smart Steps Daycare (SSD) was established in 2019 as a licensed family childcare program. SSD offers continuous high-quality childcare services to children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age located in the southwest suburban area of Cook County. Committed to a continuous high-quality of care, our program is currently recognized by the ExceleRate Illinois quality rating improvement system for the exceptional level of childcare service that we offer families within the community.
At Smart Steps Daycare we value the importance of providing a childcare program that is inclusive of developmentally appropriate practices in the field of early childcare. We also understand that family engagement plays an integral part of our daily program function, therefore we welcome and encourage families to share their own experiences, cultures and ideas in the classroom. Our program promotes an environment where staff and families work together to foster mutual respect and support for each other to help our youngest learners thrive.
